Hello all,
I have managed make a working version of PMS 1.0.3 that runs ontop of OpenElect 6.x (CuBox-i)
- File: service.multimedia.plexmediaserver-1.1.2_v1.0.3-CUBOX-I.zip - https://goo.gl/v1buEo
- Installation: Copy the attached file to your CuBox and install the addon from the filesystem (Note: that the installation can take upto 1min)
- Usage: http://cubox:32400/web/
- If desired you can now event disable the kodi and just run PMS (Note: That this is just the server not the player)
Special thanks to @hugepants (http://openelec.tv/forum/128-addons/573 ... dia-server) for doing all the hard work.
Regards and hope you have fun,
Sebastian

Re: Plex media server (PMS)
Thank you so much for this, now I have a use for my i4-Pro and I can finally shut my desktop down once in a while.
It seems to be working fine, and I've had no problems so far with it streaming video from a 1TB USB hard drive. At the moment I only need to have one active stream at a time, so it should be fine. I just have 2 questions: Can I update plex via the web interface without breaking it? It says a new version of plex is available, and I don't need new features but it's good to stay up to date provided it doesn't break it.
My second question, which I may be able to find elsewhere on the internet if I look hard enough, is how do you disable Kodi? I am running this as just a headless server so there is no point in rendering graphics. I am fairly inexperienced with Linux (although I dabbled in Ubuntu) so I connected via SSH but don't know how openELEC works from there.
Thank you so much!
