Last message on this thread was almost 7 months ago. Does anyone know what's the status of Rasplex on Cubox-I4Pro?

I'm still waiting for my hardware and originally planned to use OpenELEC with XBMC on it, but yesterday I learned about Plex and would love to at least try to run Plex MEDIA SERVER on the Cubox-I.

I found about Rasplex (http://www.rasplex.com/) but it appears to be aiming for a Plex Client on the Pi, not the media server.

I also saw some instructions on the forums here about installing the NAS (Drobo?) version of the Plex Media Server on top of Arch. Isn't there something more conventional to follow in order to get it running? How stable would it be?

(I'm pretty versed with Linux, but the main reason I ordered the Cubox-I was because I do NOT want to have to spend too much time on setting things up. As much as I'd love to do that, I just don't have the time).

Thanks.

Thanks very much for the pointers!

Do either of you have good experience with doing this? The archlinux page reports "crash regularly" in the last message just three days ago.

I'm also searching for a solution. There is an arm package for Arch Linux:

https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUIL ... r/PKGBUILD

But it dose not work correctly with armv7 architechture.

The solution might be to install arm v5 version of arch on the cubox-i.

But I don't know How I would proceed to install it. I don't know arch at all.
